This Privacy Policy explains how BillingBaba ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, admin dashboard, POS, kitchen tools, and online storefronts (the "Services").

1. Who we are BillingBaba is a multi-tenant restaurant software platform. Restaurant owners ("Restaurants") use our tools to manage menus, orders, staff, and payments. End customers of a Restaurant may place orders through that Restaurant's storefront hosted on our platform.

2. Information we collect Account & restaurant data: name, email, phone, business name, address, GST/tax details, and login credentials. Staff data: names, emails, roles, and permissions created by the Restaurant. Order & operational data: menu items, tables, KOTs, inventory, online orders, loyalty phone numbers, and related timestamps. Payment data: subscription billing via Razorpay; storefront payments may use the Restaurant's Razorpay keys or UPI ID. We do not store full card numbers. Payment processors process card/UPI data under their own policies. Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, cookies or similar tech, and basic usage logs for security and reliability. Storefront customer data: name, phone, email, delivery address, and order notes provided at checkout (controlled by the Restaurant). Partner program data: if you apply, we collect your name, email, mobile number, city, and partner type. Students also provide a college name and a photo of a student ID card. Launch partners provide a profession. After approval we store your partner code, restaurant leads you submit, commission records, and the UPI ID or bank account details you enter for payouts. Student ID photos are used only to review the application. Only you and BillingBaba platform admins can read that photo.

3. How we use information To provide and improve the Services (POS, online ordering, reports, staffing). To authenticate users and enforce roles/permissions. To process platform subscription payments and send transactional notices. To provide support and investigate abuse, fraud, or security incidents. To comply with law and enforce our Terms. To review partner applications, block self-referral and duplicate leads, calculate a one-time commission, and pay approved partners.

4. Restaurants as data controllers for guest orders When a guest orders from a Restaurant's storefront, that Restaurant decides why guest data is collected. BillingBaba processes that data to run the storefront on the Restaurant's behalf. Guests should also review the Restaurant's own policies where provided.

5. Sharing We share data with: cloud providers (e.g. Google Firebase/Google Cloud), payment processors (e.g. Razorpay), and service vendors needed to run BillingBaba. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security. We do not sell personal information. Student ID photos are not shown to restaurants. Platform admins can view them to approve or reject a student application.

6. Cookies & similar technologies We use essential cookies for login/session and may use analytics to understand product usage. See our Cookie Policy for details.

7. Data retention We retain account and operational data while the Restaurant subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes, and legal requirements. Restaurants may request deletion of their tenant data subject to legal holds and backup cycles.

8. Security We use industry-standard controls (encryption in transit, access controls, Firestore/Storage security rules). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your choices Restaurant admins can update profile and business settings in the dashboard. Staff accounts are managed by the Restaurant owner/manager. To request access, correction, or deletion of platform account data, contact support@billingbaba.in.

10. Children The Services, including the partner program, are not directed to anyone under 18. A student applicant must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International processing Data may be processed on servers in regions used by our cloud providers. By using the Services you consent to such processing.

12. Changes We may update this Policy. The "Last updated" date will change, and continued use means you accept the revised Policy.
